Dr. Azita Anissi
Dr. Anissi has been practicing dentistry in the Rochester, NY, area for nearly 20 years. Her enthusiasm for dentistry, thirst for knowledge, and exceptional clinical skills are fundamental to her practice. Dr. Anissi offers the latest technology in preventative and restorative dental care with a strong emphasis on cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. She consistently delivers exceptional care and service for beautiful, healthy smiles. As a general dentist with advanced training in orthodontics, Dr. Anissi’s dental office provides comprehensive one-stop dental care for kids, adults and families. Dr. Anissi lives in Fairport with her husband and three boys and she speaks many languages.

Education and Affiliations
Dr. Anissi attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dentistry where she earned her degree in dental surgery. She did her general practice residency at Strong Memorial Hospital. Currently, she is teaching the Residency Advancement Program at Rochester General Hospital. Dr. Anissi is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, 7th District Dental Society, American Dental Society and is a diplomate and board member with the American Orthodontic Society. She is dedicated to continuing education and earning further credentials to enhance the services of her practice for the benefit of her patients.

Orthodontic Training
Dr. Anissi has completed nearly 1,000 hours of advanced training in orthodontics from the American Orthodontic Society (AOS)—a comprehensive professional development program in orthodontics that enables her to provide quality long-term orthodontic care to her patients. AOS is the largest educational association in the world serving general and pediatric dentists who practice Orthodontics. She has been a member of AOS for more than 12 years and currently serves on the board directors where she is one of only a few female members. Dr. Anissi was awarded diplomate status by the AOS in 2008 — the highest credentialing available from the organization. Dr. Anissi has participated in continuous orthodontic education, mentoring and credentialing programs and has been recognized by colleagues worldwide for her efforts.

They consist of talented, educated and caring dental hygienists, dental assistants and administrative staff that make a patient visit comforting and informative. Patient education is our number one concern. Our hygienists and assistants are excellent communicators with a wealth of knowledge on various aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. Elena, Assisting Clinical Coordinator
Elena has been an assisting clinical coordinator for Dr. Anissi for more than eight years. She excels in every aspect of dental assisting and take great pleasure in the relationships she builds with patients. Working closely with Dr. Anissi, Elena uses her experience, enthusiasm and compassion to make the dental experience of our patients a pleasant one.

Rebecca, Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Rebecca joined Dr. Anissi’s staff in 2008. She is a graduate of Monroe Community College and has been a hygienist for more than six years. Rebecca will provide you with exceptional preventive care, spending time educating patients on techniques for efficient home care to help you attain optimal dental health. She enjoys treating a wide variety of patients with specialized dental needs, such as pediatrics, geriatrics, patients with special needs and those who suffer from dental anxiety. Rebecca also attends regular continuing educational courses to keep up to date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene.

Donna, Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Donna has been a dental hygienist for over 30 years and a member of Dr. Anissi’s staff for seven years. She is a graduate of Monroe Community College and a life-long resident of Fairport, NY. Donna works to provide a comfortable and welcoming dental experience. At your hygiene visit, you will receive thorough care and education on maintaining a healthy mouth, based on your dental needs. Donna attends numerous continuing education courses and is trained to work with the latest and most modern equipment.

Beth, Office Coordinator 
Beth has been office coordinator for Dr. Anissi for more than eight years. She is a graduate of SUNY College at Brockport with a degree in accounting. Beth concentrates on patient relations, scheduling, account maintenance, consultations, treatment overview and payment arrangements. She is very knowledgeable of the different insurance companies and she will work with patients on how to maximize benefits. Beth is happy to take your calls and help patients with their dental care treatment process so that patients have the most pleasant experience possible.
